What better way to raise funds for the school than by doing
nothing? We have many opportunities to raise money for our school by simply
doing the things we normally do. The following programs continue to be a great
source of funds for the PTA:
Acme and Redner's Register Receipts -
We collect Acme and Redner's register receipts. You must use a Redner's card (which you
can get very easily at the store!) in order for us to use your Redner's receipts. Please collect
these throughout the summer; you will be notified during the school year when to send them in.
Box Tops - Please continue to save Box Tops from both
General Mills and Betty Crocker products. We receive 10 cents for every box
top we submit. Ask your relatives to save them for us too!
Tyson's Labels - Clip and save Tyson's Project A+ labels, send them in
to Oaks, and the PTA will receive 24 cents per label.
Target - There are two ways Oaks PTA can earn money while
parents shop at Target. When you use your Target Store Credit Card or Target VISA Card for
purchases at Target, Oaks Elementary gets a 1% rebate - as long as Oaks has been identified.
All purchases with your Target VISA Card at Target earn Oaks a 1% rebate and purchases
elsewhere earn a 0.5% rebate. You can shop online at Target,
and Oaks will still get credit.
Office Depot - When you shop at Office Depot, make sure to tell
them to credit Oaks for your purchase. We will receive credit for 5% of qualifying purchases
that Oaks can use to buy supplies. There is an Office Depot at Rte 363 & Egypt Rd, or you
can shop online at Office Depot.
The school ID number for Oaks is 70087567.
Escrip - Use your Genuardi's card when shopping at Genuardi's.
As long as your card is registered through Escrip, your purchases add up to
automatic donations to Oaks Elementary. Also log onto the Escrip website before you go to
your favorite online store. These stores can be accessed through this website. Oaks will
then receive a rebate from your purchases. You can also register your Macy's card!
Recycling Used Printer Cartridges and Cell Phones -
Keep your empty printer cartridges and used cell phones and send them into school
with your child. Please do not send in toners; we cannot use them! Make sure the
printer cartridges are in baggies because they do leak! PTA periodically mails these
cartridges and cell phones into the recycling company and can earn anywhere from
$1 to $8 per cartridge and cell phone.
Abitibi Paper Retriever - Instead of putting your newspapers and magazines out
at the curb, bring them to Oaks! Help us fill the recycling bin in the parking lot and earn money for
your school.
Simply put, the more money we can raise by diligently
supporting these “non-selling” types of programs, the less we need to rely
on fundraising in the future!! If you happen to hear of any other programs like
